I bought Canon's first DSLR
(300D) about 4 years ago when it first came out. Now that the fourth
generation
of DSLR is almost here I bought one so I can
hopefully take even better pics.
Picture Tally 5464 as of
9/11/2010
12MP DSLR SD SDHC cards

It came with a 18-55mm EF-S
Image Stabilized USM telephoto lens
Camera Grip with two
additional LP-E5 batteries.
It can use the two rechargeables for about 1200 pics or 6 AA
batteries.
It has a second set of buttons to use the camera in portrait mode.

ETTL2 zoom external auto/manual flash
This flash works 100% in auto mode with my camera.
It can still be set manually if desired.
It has a built in reflector and diffuser.

Multiple Universal battery charger
2 additional LP-E5 batteries
I have for it 2 -
8GB SDHC Class 6 cards

My primary lens is the
Canon 17-85 mm EF-S Image
Stabilized USM Telephoto/Macro zoom lens.

I have a hood for it
Protecting it is a Hoya 67mm UV lens

My newest lens in a Loreo 3D lens in a cap,
It takes some pretty cool 3D stereoscopic photos
I also have a Tamron 75-300 mm 4-5.6 LD Telephoto/Macro zoom Lens

Protecting it is a Hoya 62mm UV lens

I also have a Canon 50mm F1.8 II fixed Lens

It is protected by a Hoya 52mm Polorized lens

I also have a Tameron-F AF 1.4X tele-converter

In addition to that is a Kenko Auto Macro tube set 12mm,
20mm, 36mm

Scopetronix Maxview 40 Digital T adapter to
connect to a telescope
with 52mm adapter ring

Opteka Macro Ring Flash
for macro photography.

Canon
430EZ external flash at a great price.
Works in manual mode only but much less than a 430EX
This was replaced with a ETTL2 zoom external auto/manual flash
